AVA Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd is a state-owned company with a 51% stake in other pharmaceutical companies. One of our investors is Dr. Reddy’s.
AVA Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd was founded in 1996. Initially, the manufacture of drugs was carried out in two workshops (raw materials + finished products). Gradually, the company expanded production. In 2016, it was decided to sell 49% of the shares to its European founders. The inflow of additional capital investments contributed to the modernization of production and expansion of the range of manufactured medicines.
To date, the company has over 200 trade names of generic drugs in its portfolio. These include affordable and effective drugs for digestive disorders, diabetes, cancer, viral hepatitis and HIV.
The company plans to produce unique direct antiviral drugs and antiretroviral therapy products, which have no analogues today.
AVA Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd has signed government contracts, including providing supplies to the Pakistani Army, and for exporting and providing medicines to millions of people in dozens of countries in Eurasia.
